ROBIN SIMPSON
Robin Simpson joined CCG in 1998, Passed away in July 2008
On Ted’s return from the Maleny show one year, on a beautiful day, he found himself along Bald Knob Road looking at a farm which was rich with photographic delights. He wandered down to the door and was greeted by Robin who was more than happy to have Ted wander around her farmland. On his return, Robin, in her usual hospitable way, had a cuppa ready and a brown paper bag containing a selection of photos she had herself taken recently.
She asked Ted if he could have a look and see what he thought. As Ted looked at the photos he was amazed, and shaking his head at the quality and beauty from a small point and shoot camera Robin asked “what’s wrong with them?”
Ted replied “nothing, they are bloody beautiful” and so began a close and wonderful relationship.
