Dates 27^th August to the 31^st August, or for however long you wish to stay.

Huntsville Caravan Park is to be our destination, this park is on the Mary River, has a hotel and shops very close by. This park has some cabins, but they are booked out now though, caravan sites etc. There is a Motel close by recommended by Barry at the Caravan Park, it is the Mineral Sands which is 1 minute away by car and 13 minutes on foot.

We will arrange a dinner with the Maryborough Camera Club if we can and there is Hervey Bay not too far away. Greg has been checking out the activities and photo opportunities in and around Maryborough, so when the time comes there will be plenty of opportunities for us to make some fabulous images.

New members     This trip will be the kind of trip where you can learn from the more experienced members of our club,

Maybe you are thinking of buying a new lens for your camera but not quite sure what you really need for that specialized subject that you always wanted to pursue.   Maybe you you want to cut down on the number of different lenses you need to carry around.  Well Garrick’s Camera House have come to the rescue and will be talking about WHAT TO LOOK FOR when choosing and using lenses at our Share Night on the 23 September. Whether it be Macro, Zoom, Portrait or some other lens come along to hear what the professionals have to say.

We also have Jeff Heck giving us a  short presentation on “Change”  and in this present day climate there has been plenty of that.  The aim of this presentation is to show members various interpretations of “Change”  in readiness for our Set Subject in November.
