Our end of year Annual Awards include a President’s Trophy – the subject is chosen by the current President, so I’m the lucky one who chooses the subject for this year! My chosen subject for 2024 is ‘CONNECTION’.
A “connection” can be a relationship in which a person, animal or thing is linked or associated with someone, some others or something else. For instance, connection could be when two or more people interact with each other and each person feels valued, seen and heard. We also see animals, birds and insects connecting with each other and the things around them (see photo above!). Or a connection could be as simple as an electrical plug being pushed into a socket! When I view your image I want to see that “connection” immediately!
Members can enter a maximum of two prints, colour or mono, same size as for all our monthly competitions, with digital copies to be uploaded to our competition site as usual. Closing date is Wednesday 6th November 2024, so you’ve got plenty of time to think about your entries!
