SUNSHINE COAST PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB

The Sunshine Coast Photography Club (formerly The Caloundra Camera Group) is one of the oldest Clubs of its type in the region. It was incorporated in 1997 and is affiliated with the Photographic Society of Queensland.

The club offers members a wide range of excursions, social activities and photography competitions in a supportive environment for all skill levels.

New members are always welcome regardless of photographic experience or equipment as we strive to encourage the development of photographic skills and knowledge so that we all may achieve and share a greater enjoyment of the art of photography.

Make over of membership features completed

I have completed all the planned features for Version 2 of the website. They are accessed by members via the four grey buttons at the top-right of the home page. The functions now available are:

  • ENTER COMPETITIONS — MEMBERS DIRECTORY: Unchanged, full version 2 functionality is implemented.
  • INFORMATION FOR MEMBERS: Provides access to documentation of all aspects of entering our competitions: calendars, scoring, and judging. Also, the Caloundra Camera Group Constitution can be downloaded from here.
  • LEARNING AND SHARING: Here are all the Tips, Tricks, Tutorials, and links to external self-help you might find useful when preparing your images for competition.
  • WHERE IS IT? This is a new feature. It consists of a comprehensive compendium of both internal and external links to all those useful features that you sometimes can’t find. The internal links act as a site map of all the essential functions of the website. All links open in a new tab.

STOP PRESS: The MyPhotoClub Administrator, Colin Woods, has just announced implementation of some important functionality that has been in preparation since the upgrade to version 2. I will provide complete information in the next homepage blog post as soon as I can compile all the details.
