Following our very successful Camera Capers recently (slideshow of images to come at our April Share Night), our next event will be:
Sunday 14th April from 9.30 am at the Maroochy Bushland Botanic Gardens, 51 Palm Creek Road, Tanawha Q 4554. This will be a combined event with members from Gympie and Caboolture camera clubs, so come along and meet some of our fellow photographers. Please note we are supplying morning tea for everyone, so please bring along a plate of something to share. We are also supplying tea and coffee to have with morning tea, but BYO lunch and other drinks. This will be a fun day of photography with a great group of friends. Other events to note are: PSQ (Photographic Society of Qld) Convention which is being held on the long weekend – Sat, Sun, Mon – 4th, 5th and 6th May at the Kedron Wavell Services Club. Club trip to Bjelke Petersen Dam Caravan Park, Haager Drive, Moffatdale Q 4605 (close to Murgon) from Thursday 30th May, for four nights, leaving on Monday 3rd June. A number of us have booked already – there are caravan and camp sites as well as cabins – phone to book on 4168 4746. Plenty of photo opportunities, visits to wineries, museums, reserves etc and lots of time to enjoy each others company.
