Luke Ballard will give a presentation on “Green Screen”. This is a photography technique in which you shoot your subject against an even green background. When processing the image you can then select the green background and replace it with another image.

This is the first CCG Project Group Workshop, mentored by Lisa Kurtz.

March 2019 Set Subject is “Still Life”.

Definition of Still Life: Still life images involve inanimate objects placed or observed in a composed order, in a context, and with a background. Composition is an important feature, as may be balance and texture. Also lighting, as a feature to highlight the subject, separate the background, create shadows, and to create atmosphere, etc.

NOTE: The Closing date for the March competitions is Midnight on Wednesday, February 13.

This is an informal meeting for the Project Group to discuss plans, ideas, and raise questions. Lisa Kurtz may, or may not, be able to attend.
